Browsing model pricing, provider status, and stylometric analysis
Downloading free research reports and datasets

3. Accounts

You may browse the Website without an account. Signing in only saves your votes and likes. You can create an account using your email address or a third-party authentication provider (Google, GitHub). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Rival Datasets & Research

Rival publishes datasets of pre-generated AI model responses, associated metadata, and free research reports. These are free downloads, provided for research, analysis, and personal or commercial use.

Attribution is appreciated: include "Data from rival.tips" in your work or documentation.
You may use the data in products, for model training, and in published research.
Please do not rehost the raw files as your own. Derivative works and analysis are welcome.

The datasets contain AI-generated content produced by third-party models. Rival does not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular purpose of the AI-generated content within them. The data is provided "as is". You are responsible for evaluating the suitability of the data for your intended use.

5. Advertising

The Website displays advertising through Carbon Ads and may feature brand placements arranged directly with us. Advertising does not influence duel outcomes, community vote tallies, comparison results, or editorial rankings. Sponsored placements are clearly labeled. To inquire about a placement, contact partnerships@rival.tips.

6. Content Ownership

AI-generated responses displayed on the platform are produced by third-party models via OpenRouter and direct provider APIs, and are subject to the terms of the respective model providers. Rival does not claim ownership of AI-generated responses but reserves the right to display them on the platform and include them in aggregated, anonymized datasets.

7. Affiliate Links & Sponsored Content

The Website contains affiliate links to third-party products and services (including but not limited to ElevenLabs, Cursor, OpenRouter, and other developer tools). If you make a purchase through these links, Rival may receive a referral commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence model comparison results, rankings, or editorial content. Affiliate links are marked with appropriate HTML attributes (rel="sponsored").

8. Intellectual Property

The Rival platform, including its design, code, branding, and pre-generated content curation, is the property of Rival. AI model responses displayed on the platform are generated by their respective model providers. Model names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used on Rival for identification purposes only.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Attempt to scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the Website beyond what is provided via official APIs or datasets.
Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks connected to the Service.
Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
Manipulate voting or duel outcomes through automated means or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
Use the Service to generate, store, or distribute illegal, harmful, or abusive content.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Rival and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.
